I've searched around a little and learned that iaStor.sys and iaStorV.sys are files that have to do with drivers for Intel Matrix Storage Manager…
but isn't iaStorV for Vista???
I also tried going to the Intel website and downloading the Matrix Storage Manager, in hopes that it'd give me the driver I'm missing, but every time I try to run it, it says this computer does not meet the minimum requirements or something…
I'm just trying to get my friend's computer to go from XP (what it currently has) to Windows 7. I was planning on having it do a fresh install of Windows 7 where it'd wipe the C drive clean, but I obviously can't get that far in the installation.
I also read something about enabling something called RAID in the BIOS, but I see no options called RAID in the BIOS…
Does anyone know of ANYTHING I can do to get this to work???
